The Persons with Disability Act, 2012 provides for welfare measures, particularly reservation reservation in government jobs in accordance with the Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Participation Act, 1995. According to a UN report, India has 6-7& differently-abled population or around 70 million of which 100,000 are employable.
